Terms of use

These terms apply to the ScrollTamer iOS app and website, which are owned and operated by The Wavering Line LLC, based in Kansas, United States (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using ScrollTamer, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable terms for apps and in-app purchases.

Using ScrollTamer

ScrollTamer helps you apply daily app limits using Apple’s Screen Time features. You choose which apps to select and authorize Screen Time access on your device. You are responsible for reviewing your selections and settings.

Screen Time monitoring and shielding depend on iOS permissions, device availability, and system scheduling. ScrollTamer is a personal focus tool, not an emergency service or a guarantee that app use will stop in every circumstance.

ScrollTamer Plus

The free version includes one selected app and preset daily limits. ScrollTamer Plus is planned as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks custom daily limits and support for up to 20 protected apps. Any price and availability shown by the App Store at checkout control the purchase. Apple processes the payment and applicable refunds. You can use Restore Purchase in the app to recover an eligible purchase.

Apple’s standard license

Use of the iOS app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different license is presented with the app.

Updates and availability

We may update the app, website, or these terms as the product changes. Updates to the terms will be posted on this page. The current app and in-app purchase descriptions are shown in the app and App Store.
